Job Summary

The GLG EMEA team is looking to hire a London-based Manager with an in-depth understanding of Analytics and Insights who can support and advise the business on maximizing operational excellence and strategic initiatives. A core part of the role will be to establish and maintain a single source of truth to promote a culture of data-driven decision making across the business.

The role will work closely with the EMEA General Managers, Operations and Finance and their teams as well as with other global teams. 

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Developing and/or deciphering readily available outputs to support decision making and creating an actionable plan for implementation, including but not limited to training creation, crafting measures of success and advising leadership on how to problem solve where needed
  • Comprehensive knowledge of our product offering, people and operations in order to support a holistic approach and methodology to recommendations
  • Designing, creating and maintaining views of operational, business and performance health for regular leadership and segment updates
  • Combining information from various sources to create analytically-driven presentations to clearly communicate recommendations to leadership to drive business performance and revenue
  • Acting as a thought partner to our Business Intelligence team to adapt and customize dashboards for a regional focus to better inform strategic planning and analysis
  • Acting as a thought partner and operational point of contact for Finance to validate assumptions, measure productivity of servicing teams, track pacing and identify key levers to achieving desired outputs or goals
  • Working with other global teams to pilot and drive operational initiatives, performing analysis to measure project impact and drive better decision making 
  • Developing and maintaining target setting and capacity models for servicing teams across the region with a continued focus on highlighting challenges and recommendations
  • Supporting leadership in validating assumptions for operational optimization 

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 3-5 years professional experience, ideally in operations, analytics or business intelligence
  • Undergraduate degree or above
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/PowerPoint (advanced) and Looker reporting software
  • Superior communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in conducting high quality analysis and understanding of financial fundamentals
  • Comfort in navigating ambiguity and developing structure with limited guidance or precedence
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with key business leaders and other stakeholders across the company
