Senior Associate, Surveys - Financial Services

Experience Level: Junior

The Survey Team is responsible for the full delivery of survey projects across various industry sectors, geographic regions, and client types. We oversee the execution of hundreds of survey projects each month. This role requires attention to detail, excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, a sharp analytical mindset, and a passion for creative problem solving, client service, and project management.

GLG is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Survey Senior Associate to join our US-based Survey Team, which is part of the Global Financial Services Survey division. This role will involve collaborating with GLG's Client Solutions and Business Development teams, as well as our sophisticated client base, focusing particularly on top-tier Financial Services firms.

The Survey Senior Associate will play a key role in the creation and execution of surveys designed to help clients assess and understand industry and market trends through commercial assessments, voice-of-customer research, benchmarking analysis, and consumer profiling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement customized surveys focused on specialized topics and populations.

  • Compile and present survey data reports for clients.

  • Manage complex survey requests, tailoring them to client-specific needs and preferences.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years in market research and survey design, including experience with online survey platforms.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, and process-oriented environment.

  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple survey projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks based on client urgency and importance.

  • Analysis: Experience in analyzing survey results and communicating insights to stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven research experience.

  • Proficiency in questionnaire and survey writing/programming (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics, etc. is a plus).

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques.

  • Strong writing, logic, and communication skills, including excellent organizational abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rigorous environment.

  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Full business proficiency in English.

Career Progression:

After 12-24 months of delivering high-quality work and effectively managing client relationships, Senior Survey Associates typically advance to Survey Project Specialist or Manager roles. In these positions, you will manage your own book of business, nurture client relationships, and take on greater account management responsibilities.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

 

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$60,360$70,000 USD
