We are seeking a skilled and craft-oriented Senior UX Designer to join our team. You will drive the creation of exceptional user experiences by balancing user needs with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor designers on craft, and stay updated on industry trends to deliver innovative design solutions. This role requires a proactive problem-solver committed to enhancing overall user experiences. Role, responsibilities, and experience include the following:
- 6+ years of experience, with a robust understanding of user-centered design methodologies, design thinking and best practices.
- Experience in working on B2B and enterprise-level products and platforms.
- Ability to balance user, business and technology goals.
- Advocate for the end user throughout the design and development process.
- Experience in end-to-end design delivery, including conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform design decisions and measure the success of design solutions.
- Lead by example in design craftsmanship, mentoring and guiding the UX team to achieve excellence in user-centered design practices, ensuring consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Proficiency in industry standard design tools such as Sketch and Figma, and in responsive design.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to define and implement design solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Work effectively on multiple, concurrent projects.
- Current with industry trends, tools and technologies to deliver innovative solutions through enhanced design processes.
- A passion for creating exceptional user experiences and solving design problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven ability through a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of UX design projects and processes, including problem statements, user research, design solutions, and resulting outcomes.
- Excellent team collaboration, communication and cross-functional skills.
- Capability to handle various projects, tight timelines, and adjust to shifting priorities.
- A strong understanding of accessibility standards and how to design inclusive user experiences.
- Familiar with lean UX, agile and scrum processes.
