Andrew Somosi is Head of GLG Americas, overseeing all of GLG’s Americas Financial Services, PSF, and Corporate businesses, along with GLG’s Americas Client Solutions team.
Andrew has extensive experience driving growth and leading strategic and technological transformation at B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies. Prior to joining GLG, he was EVP, Product Leadership at Nielsen, where he led key business verticals and oversaw a product portfolio responsible for more than $2 billion in revenue. Before that, he was president of Nielsen Social, responsible for transforming Nielsen’s social media business into a profitable SaaS model. He previously held senior leadership roles at software companies Lattice Engines and LexisNexis, as well as at McKinsey & Company.
Andrew speaks seven languages and is an avid surfer and voracious reader. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA in Economics from Columbia University.
